Orange Crush and Blue Stampede    (2014)

This animation is structured as a series of still images that dissolve from one to another. "Orange Crush and Blue Stampede" is generated partly from a mathematical algorithm and partly from keyboard and mouse interaction. It is organized into two roughly-equal sections: "Orange Crush" is the first section and "Blue Stampede" is the second section. There no sound. It is intentionally silent.

Technical note: the dissolves in this video do not play cleanly on Vimeo (they look noisy). However, the downloaded original .mov video file does play well.
